I will give you my first thoughts on this card, should you choose to go with it...Am certainly not trying to talk you out of anything, just giving you what you asked for...feedback.
Nats - Honestly, night in and night out, I look at lines and the Nats usually look like a pretty good play...until the game begins, they are truely a bad team but O'conner is a stud and appears to be pitching very well this early in his career. 2 things that scare me away form playing this game as a Nats backer and they are both offensive....Braves have hot as hell bats and Nats simply can't drive in a run to save their lives...the game they lost the other night against the Reds with a 3 run lead in the 9th was all I could take from this team, they remind me of the Cubs from last year...very bad team.
Texas - Its just this simple, although the bats of Texas did well yesterday, how many times this seson have we thought they had it going only to put their bats in their pockets the very next game...they can sure score with the best of em in this league, but so can Boston...both pitchers are either very on or very off...its about a 50-50 game imo.
Arizona...Marquis is hands down the worst pitcher in the Cards rotation, and has done horrible this season, not just horrible, extremely horrible...the guy is so overdue for a solid start, so much so I think his immediate future is in jeopardy, the juggernaut of a lineup the Cards trot out day in and day out scare me to wits end, and the only time all season I bet against them was against Marquis, but again, his livelyhood is in danger, and combine that with the bats of STL...very scarey play....again, I am on a terrible run right now, so its very likely I am looking at these ass backwards, but to be honest all these games are no plys for me!!!!!!!
