Great game tonight, lets hope the rest are as intense (of course I am hoping for similar results!). I am heading to the GIGSE convention so I won't be around to talk trash until the end of the series so don't think I have slunk away should things turn ugly...

Anyways best of luck. Honestly though it just is hard for me to have ill will towards the Clips. It just isn't as much fun as beating the Lakers! :finger:

This is a very interesting series. I think the Clippers are the better club(contrarty to what I thought going in), but they are outcoached in a big time way. Dunleavy choaked tonight, no ifs ands or buts about it.

I think there was a little consolation at least. I feel Clip reads his own team as well as I do and made a good chunk on the under this evening. At leasy I hope he did. Have faith Clip, they can still get this done, although they probably cannot win another game in Phoenix.

Can't get it done unless they win another game in Phoenix.

No kidding, I didn't know that.
Clips cover the next game, don't they? Who do you like at the current series prices?

Long night last night...ugh.

I have said all along that I am not a big fan of Dunleavy. The ONE thing I do like is the way he has made this team believe in playing defense. Other than that, can't stand him.

He chased off Wilcox (we were lucky to land a trade that brough a player we needed for outside shooting), he tried chasing off Maggette (and will by next year), he makes some of the most bonehead substitutions...there are a lot of coaches in this league that would of had this team in the 2nd round of the playoffs this season. He is getting way to much credit from the media.

As far as the game, I was not the least bit surprised with the loss. I said before the series started that I didn't think either team would win all of their games at home. I was hoping we would grab Game 3 and put some heat on them for Game 4, but it didn't happen. Now Game 4 is a must win for us.

From a betting perspective, I would be playing the ML dog every game. It is 2-1 so far. After game 1 which pushed the rest of the games in the series totals up because of the inflated score when neither team could miss, UNDERS the rest of the way for me as long as it is above 215 as it has been (1-1 so far).

Between Game 1 and Game 3, I am not a bit discouraged.

We lost Game 1 even though we shot 59% from the field. That should never happen in basketball. It is mind boggling that you can lose a game shooting that well.

Game 3 was just the opposite...we held Phoenix to 94 points and 37.2% shooting (7-for-27 from 3 for 25.9%). That is a game we should win against a team that does not play good interior defense.

Big game on Sunday. Obviously a must win before heading back to Phoenix.

I think the Clippers probably will cover the next one and I think the Clippers are a decent value at plus 240 to take the series.

2-2...it's going to be tough to win another in Phoenix, but it is possible.

Game 6 is the one that concerns me. It sure would be nice to be playing to close out the series in that game! :toast:

Absolutely...Kaman struggles to matchup defensively in this series. With him out of the lineup it means more minutes for Maggette and Radmanovic.

Kaman is a key component for this team because of his rebounding and shot blocking. The problem is he is being forced to step out on the perimeter and he is getting beat because of the Suns quickness.

Maggette pulled down another 15 rebounds last night. We are still dominating on the boards even without Kaman and we have more offense. Brand is the focal point in the post regardless of whether Kaman is there or not.

There is no chance in hell we could win the next series without Kaman if we get by the Suns though...
