What is the deal with Canada?

SIA is there, right? Bet US says they are liscensed and bonded in both Costa Rica and Canada. Bodog has their customer service team there. But I've also heard that online betting is illegal in Canada, technically. What is their official stance? Could Canada become a future place for people to move to and open a book? I'm confused.

I think SIA only has their servers in Canada? Is cust service there as well?

I'm pretty sure BoDog has a marketing team up in Vancouver but no cust service.

Anyone want to clarify this?

When the books say "licensed in Canada" they really mean that they are licensed by an Indian Reservation in Canada

Natives are free to do whatever they please in Canada. They are untouchable.

Online gambling is legal and winnings are non-taxable unless it is your primary source of income.

It's the same as most US states. It's illegal to make a book but not to place bets. It's simply that our politicians have better things to do than persecute their citizens. It's also easier to dump the leader (party in power) in a parliamentary system.
