SD is the better team and we played them at a good price. Cubs are just hapless right now. I would rather we pat ourselves on the back for being smart enough to ride the Padres while they are on fire...:toast:

Well a W is a W no matter how they come, and besides we have lost a game or two this year in Almost the same fashion! It is supposed to even out but sometimes i wonder!

I have lost more heartbreakers this year than I can remember. I had Dodgers today and baseball gods must have decided that I shouldn't enjoy my Padre game for more than an hour.

I think what's tough in that it is such a long grind and it is a real challenge to stay with the ebb and flow for 5 months day in day out.
