He gets the glory...but what a great job by the entire bottom half of the lineup putting them in a position to win at the end. Down 3 heading into the bottom of the 9th with the bottom of the order coming up and no more Bonds in the lineup...very impressive win.

A couple of those hits battled back from 2 strike counts. Awesome win for the Giants.

I noticed that too, first 3 batters in the 9th all had 2 strike counts....the mark of pitcher without an out pitch.

I feel a big day now! :toast: :drink: :suomi: :missingte

i had dodgers and over so i didnt exactly benefit or lose with the 9th inning rally, however, having watched the game on fox sports i can tell u this

the dodger manager is a moron. how the fuck could he leave baez in there for the entire ninth? he was getting hit like mayorga last saturday night.

over and over again and he kept him in there the entire time...end result, the giants won....little is a moron.

Hmm...I watched the entire game also and I didn't see him getting hit hard at all. The defense let him down. No way that should have lasted as long as it did. Not to mention he was getting ahead in every count. I think 4 or 5 of the Giant batters battled back from a 2 strike count.

The other thing is, who could they have turned to? Have you seen the Dodgers bullpen?
