The Padres meet the Cubs, against whom they are 6-0 this year, in the finale of a three-game set on Sunday. After Friday's 10-5 win over Chicago, San Diego captured the series with a 4-3 triumph on Saturday, thanks once again to Mike Piazza. In the opener, Piazza had four hits, including a RBI double for the lead and game-clinching burst of momentum. Then in the second game, he hit a go-ahead three-run homer in the top of the ninth inning.

The Padres have now won 13 of their last 14 contests and are one step closer to once again sweeping the lowly Cubs. They captured the all four meetings between these two teams May 5-8.
Clay Hensley (1-2, 4.73 ERA) will make the start for San Diego, which has a four-game winning streak. In his previous outing, the 26-year-old righthander failed to earn a decision in a 5-4 setback to Milwaukee on Tuesday. Hensley surrendered four runs, eight hits and three walks in five frames.

The Cubs - losers of 11 of their last 12 games - give the ball to lefthander Rich Hill (0-2, 9.00). He will try to end a personal two-game skid, including a 6-1 defeat to San Francisco on Tuesday in which he allowed five runs, eight hits and three walks in six innings.

BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!

*Hensley dazzles as Padres sweep Cubs again*
============================================

SAN DIEGO 9, CHICAGO CUBS 0
---------------------------
CHICAGO (Ticker) -- Clay Hensley ended the San Diego Padres'
dominance over the Chicago Cubs in impressive fashion.

Hensley tossed a two-hitter for his first career shutout as the
Padres remained red-hot, winning for the 14th time in 15 games
with a 9-0 victory over the Cubs in the finale of a three-game
series.

Sweeping Chicago for the second time in a week, San Diego ended
the season series with a 7-0 mark - the first time that the Cubs
have been swept in a season by a National League opponent.

Going past the seventh inning for the first time this season,
Hensley (2-2) struck out two and walked just one, notching a
shutout in his seventh career start and first appearance at
historic Wrigley Field.

Throwing 59 of 91 pitches for strikes, the 24-year-old induced
13 groundball outs as he faced three batters over the minimum.

Chicago starter Rich Hill (0-3) hung close with Hensley until
the sixth when he gave up a leadoff walk to Brian Giles, a
double to Mike Piazza and a sacrifice fly to Khalil Greene to
fall behind, 2-0.

That deficit grew when reliever Scott Williamson came on and
allowed two runners to reach before unleashing consecutive wild
pitches to give the Padres a 4-0 advantage.

Greene, who finished with four RBI, added a three-run homer in
the seventh to make it 8-0.

Todd Walker and Michael Barrett both doubled for the Cubs, who
lost for the 12th time in 13 games
