Unbelievable Wager...........

Just spoke to my bookie friend today and he told me a few weeks ago one customer in another city placed a parlay bet with a local bookie that he knows. The bet was $40,000 which paid $800,000 on a 6 team baseball parlay. Naturally the bookie took the bet figuring the odds of winning was very slim..........ouch that guy won..........

I asked him if the bookie was able to pay.........he has already paid 3 installments of $200,000.

The word is everyone heard about that bet in that city's gambling community.

I thought so too.........the word is he's Orientals and they are generally huge gamblers and would risk their restaurant businesses..........

I still find this out there. NO local is going to take a baseball parlay of that size, that i have ever heard of. Next thing that comes to mind is this, Lets just say that someone actually bet this, and someone actually booked it. First thing the maker would do is shorten the price if it hits, and get rid of most of it, to another maker, or several of them.

Maybe this is what happend to Hollywood?

Guys you have to trust me on this.........I kind of know the players involved and the local bookie is not a small time operation but actually very very large with action coming in from all over Canada and the US.

When you walk into a casino what type of clientele do you see dominating the place..........Orientals........whether it's in Atlantic City or Las Vegas and the big cities in Canada like Montreal and Toronto.

Fact: Orientals loves to gamble and that is why the local bookie is also Oriental. They know where the action is..........

Usually I don't hear to much about the regular Joes playing the big bucks unless they are financially well off........BUT Orientals don't have to be well off and they will still bet amounts that will make your head spin its just their mentality..........

Believe it or not it's up to you but I figure when there is something interesting relating to sport betting I'll share it with the forum but I had to make sure there was some validity otherwise I don't want to be one of those type of posters in this forum with a bad reputation of bullshit.

Most orientals play large... Last time at the Wynn in LV and guy sat down next to me and my brother at the Bacarrat table and started w 75k and in 2 short hours ran it up to 250k..no lie. Helped me make some extra $ that night.

I've ran across a few locals, that have taken and paid off parlays of a bigger size than that.

Parlays, yes, are always limited more than regular wagers, but, I know a guy who put $65k on a 5 team parlay, and it hit, and he got paid within 2 weeks.
