Regarding Hollywood...

I spoke with Hollywood CSD supervisor John just now and discussed some of the concerns voiced by many of you over the last several days.

I want to assure you that the problem is not a financial one and no one is being slow paid on purpose. The Neteller withdrawals have created the majority of the delays because of the different software that is now being used to process NT withdrawals. Old Hollywood Neteller #s are not compatable with the new software and are reading non-transferable at this time. This has caused the current payout or withdrawal department to be unable to send funds by Neteller.

I have been assured that everything is being done to recitfy the problem as soon as possible. Anyone who was sent a check by Fed Ex without their permission is free to call Hollywood CSD and asked for a stop payment to be made on that check and another means of payment will be arranged.

Anyone with futures or missing wagers can find out exactly what futures or missing wagers they have by requesting an email listing all pending wagers that are not in their online account profile.

I will stay in contact with both John and Victor all week to try and be of any help that I can getting Rxers paid ASAP or being promptly informed of their account status.

Please feel free to contact me at wilheim@therx.com if you feel you need more assistanc than you are getting from Hollywood CSD.

The Rx. is very concrned about Rxers getting their funds in a timely manner and will do all in our power to make sure everyone is paid in full as soon as possible.

I will continue to update this forum daily until this matter is resolved.

Wil i see why you postedt his but all this isn't very helpful.
They are willing to take calls about ppl that are getting checks instead of neteller or other payment---BUT, they encourage you to wait for the check instead of cancelling because they say it will take upwards of SIX WEEKS to cancel the check and get your payment the way you want it.

Bullshit. I wanted them to cancel their check in-transit but they told me i shouldn't becuase i'd have to wait even longer, instead of cancelling it transferring to neteller immediately.

sounds like the run-around. bullshit. they should just TRUST me taht i wont' cash that check when i get it just like I TRUSTED THEM when I sent my $$ to them to begin with.

I appreciate the update Will, but I also must voice my complaints. The decision to mass mail checks to people without their permission was a TERRIBLE one! My check is going to the wrong address, so I had to call and ask for a stop payment. Had they simply contacted me beforehand and said that they were sending a check instead of the Neteller I requested (last week and never came) and this whole thing would not even be an issue. Now I have to wait even longer, though they have told me they will keep me updated on my status. BTW, I had to call them 3 times today just to get this somewhat resolved...and none of those times did I even get to talk to the person that they told me to talk to in the first place! At least the clerks themselves were patient on the phone, I can imagine they've had a rough day.

As Wil said, there are no financial concerns, and noone need worry about getting paid (eventually) ...

... but the days of same-day Neteller payouts are long gone for Hollywood customers, and it's not just a "transition" thing ... those days are gone for good.

Might it go faster to request a book to book transfer?
Then WD your funds from new book to NETteller, or
keep them there, maybe get a deposit bonus, or
whatever you want to do with them in new book?

I am reading at SBR a player just got shafted by the "new" Hollywood. Check this out: He lays -200 on Wade Un 1½ made 3-pt. FG's. The bet wins, but wait, its graded "no action" because Wade did not attempt a 3 pt FG. Unreal.

That is in the process of being corrected(paid), if it hasn't already been.

I guess business is business. Hollywood was a good friend of this forum. They sponsored some fun contests and kept the lines of communication open with Rx posters. I also enjoyed the free NFL contest they had every year and Bj always helped out where he could.

Now people are getting jerked around and no one from the takeover group has big enough nads to publically post up and simply say "we are overwhelmed and fucking up this transition."

Same day Neteller payouts "a thing of the past"

Shame on any book that immediately grabs our deposits and then drags its feet on payouts.

my pending wagers dont show up. I emailed them last night, no answer.

my withdrawal ( 2nd time put in, first was simply cancelled by them) was sent by Fedeex without telling me. Its going to the wrong address. Dont tewll me I have to wait 6 weeks now while they cancel the check because that is BULLSHIT.

I will call them tomorrow. WTF is going on there? Jesus!

For the record the poster "bubba" wanted to relay to all that he has NOT been paid after numerous attempts to reason with the "new" Hollywood. He suspects he will get his money now that his dispute has been made public.

Off-shore Book (Hollywood)

I as some already know I have about a half dozen or so on-line/off-shore accounts (Hollywood) is and never will be one, I have never had any trouble getting money from Pinny, BetCris and 5-Dimes. The others there was only an issue ONCE. For those having to wait to get their cash, I feel bad for you. Were it me, I would not go back to them (Hollywood) and would open/add to one of the three mentioned above.
