I think they shuffle after every hand, in most games, but there are some done with webcams available. I wouldn't touch it.

ROTFLMAO. I still can't believe this question was asked.

Definite "post of the year" candidate.

Good question. Probably had a better chance 6 or 7 years ago when Internet gaming was still in it's infancy and everything was run much more haphazardly then it is now.

Since automatic shuffling is the norm after every hand, any advantage you can gain by card counting is negated. To make counting work, you would need to find a game where shuffling isn't done after every game, and where the decks used are allowed to run their course. This may be impossible to find, but if you did find such a game there would be potential.

Since shuffling is done after every hand, the only way I can imagine getting an advantage would be to find a one or two deck game and to play every spot on the table, then you would know what other cards have been dealt and could get an advantage, as you could potentially see half the deck when playing at third base. Again, probably not going to find such a game, but theoritically it's possible.

For those knocking your question as idiotic probably don't have a firm understanding of the game and the potential advantage one get get by card counting. Keep in mind that Vegas was dealing a beatable game for 50 years before Edwin Thorpe figured out how to beat it in 1961. So the possibility that an on-line casino could offer a beatable game is certainly possible, but unfortunately unlikely.

And lastly, one should not forget that advantages of bonuses, and I wouldn't be shocked if there were some players out there that can get an advantage by combining perfect strategy with various promotions that are offered. Keep in mind that the edge in a 6- deck game of blackjack with favorable rules is less then .3%, so coupling perfect play with bonses can very easily result in a positive expectation.

Simpleton....you are joking and your moniker is a play on that joke, right?

Ask yourselves this: Would you count cards on a video blackjack machine at a casino?

Certainly....if I knew that combining perfect play and bonuses would yield a positive expectation. Does such an opportunity exist on Video Blackjack machines in casinos? Probably not.

If one is truly interested in making money off video machines, I would direct them to Video Poker. In particular, do a Goodle search on Bob Dancer. You can beat Video Poker by playing perfectly and taking advantage of cashback and other casino promotions. It's a grind, but it can be done.

OK...now wait. I actually agree with you that bonuses and such can lead to maybe a positive expectation, but that is true of any game of chance if given bonuses...or might be true, I should say. But actual card counting on internet blackjack is as off-track as saying you want to count cards to get an edge over roulette (sp?)

HOWEVER, to be specific, there have been times that people in the past have found computer generated patterns to online blackjack and other casino type games online. This was due to errors in the program (some might have been easter egg type errors by malicious programmers) AND some cases were due to the fact that random numbers are VERY difficult (impossible actually) to generate with a computer. These holes have been plugged for the most part, but you never know. tulsa

Throw in the distrust factor of online casinos and few will try this for bonuses unless it's like the Skybook one, where you could go 100-200 on 300 hands and still profit nicely.

It really has to be a big bonus and trusted site before people will do this. Everybody did pretty good on the SKY BJ, but there have been some wicked stories about other places ( like losing 20 in a row).
