Kazmir +102 at home vs. ChiSox

Thoughts??

D Rays haven't been hitting, but should tag McCarthy for atleast 4, may not need that much with Kazmir on the hill. ChiSox haven't hit lefties, and this one may be the most dominant in the AL ... RIGHT NOW... I LIKE IT...

Taking TB +102 4 units

STL -112 3 units

and LA Ddodgers -115 2 units

I am very close to taking the DRAYS with KAZMIR on the mound.

May actually be attending this game too.

Kazmir has been dynamite in his last 3 starts........and was just flat out FILTHY NASTY his last time out.

Day off for Rays yesterday and CHISOX traveling down from Minnesota.

I really want to play this game.............still havent though.

Well, as mentioned, the past 3 games he has been dynamite.

Last time out he pitched as well a game as anybody this entire year.

If he continues to improve, he has a chance to be the most dominant LEFTY in the game in the next 1-5 years in my opinion.

This game has D-Rays written all over it. Here are my reasons atleast:

McCarthy has a track record against Tampa...in 3 innings, 8 hits, 5 runs, 15.00 ERA

White Sox's are going to have him on a strict pitch count I heard around 60 or 70. So Chicago will have to go to the pen in probably the 4th inning. McCarthy was the long reliever before so who takes his spot now, Boone Logan? Matt Thorton (LOL)? Sox's usually don't get to there better relievers until the 7th.

Kazmir is reaching ace status. 48 K's in 49 innings, I watched him throw against the Mariners last week and this guy is absolutely dirty. Some young guys when they get men on 3rd with less than 2 outs lose there composure. Kazmir dug right down and was K'in people left and right.

I think this game has Tampa written all over it which is why I will be playing it. Good luck to everyone!

White Sox hitting has picked up during the Twin series. Kazmir will be tested with this lineup as Ozzie gave a lot of starters the day off in yesterday's day game. Mccarthy didn't too badly in relief a few days ago and has picked it up according to the manager. Kazmir is a stud who always gives the opportunity of pitching a good game. The problem is that the D-rays may not give him any run support, putting more pressure on him to be highly efficient. This situation is a no bet for me.

Hey guys, been watching this board for a few months now and have finially joined. I am a big Rays fan. Here are my thoughts on tonight's game:

- Kazmir is hot, like everyone notices. 1 ER or less in his last 3 starts. 3-0 @ home.
- Rays bats have been extremely quiet the last week. Two days off since last Thursday, should be ready to roll tonight against a long reliever.
- Not much of a betting factor, but every team plays with more swagger when your Ace is on the mound. Rays especially, they talk about it all the time in the paper.
-+104 w/ Kazmir pitching? Ill take it.

Lot of ppl on the Rays tonight it looks like. GL if you take them. Hope to be able to add some info from here on out.

Leaning towards over and the Sweater. Im not that great at capping baseball, but I love to bet against guys making their first starts of the season after being a reliever.

passing on the game

but I don't like Tampa's pen to hold a lead and I wouldn't be shocked to see 2-2 game in the 8th. sox do everything right except when i bet them like fri and sat. gl
