How many here can say, I'm not a true sports fan, but a true gambler.?

I'm on the true gambler side. Maybe 10 years back, it would of been a true sports fan.

Still both, but as time passes and my teams have finally won Championships (Packers and Red Sox) and gambling being a huge part of my income............GAMBLING IS 10X more important to me now than being a fan.

Thats being conservative.

I'm a true soccer fan but my interest in any other sport is pretty much just because of gambling.

Loving sports and being a sportsbettor is just a coincidence for me. Totally different for me, sportsbetting is my profession while sports is a passion.

I agree with Fishhead, though gambling makes up only a very small part of my income.

Today: College Sports: 80% Fan 20% gambler
Pro Sports 20% Fan 80% gambler.

Unfortunately, it is tough at times to be just a fan, especially when I read my favorite teams the best. However, when it comes, to Husker football, basketball and baseball or any other sport, Pacer hoops, Royals baseball, and Dolphins football I am very passionate yet, although sometimes it is tough.

I used to be a true sports fan then started gradually crossing over to a true gambler. But it's not worth it, I have now gradually shifted back to sports fan. Poker plays a much bigger role in satisfying my money/gambling rush needs.

I am not a true sports fan. I am a gambler and I'd bet against my own team any time I believe they will not win or cover the spread. Not MY OWN team, but my own team. So....according to the rules, I am no fan. tulsa

True gambler IFFFFF this means Investor-----as opposed to the proverbial needing to gamble on the raindrops.

If/as folks mature they become less and less sports fans-- one becomes jaded & weary of the disrespect / callous dismissal shown towards us customers: it's the same soap operas with dysfunctional punks repeated over and over-- just the names change-- not just players, but owners, league officials, & politicians/regulators too.
