that shit was just straight cowardly. Irregardless of how much Bonds was covering the plate. Sure throw chin music to back him off. But going right for his head?

Fuck that. Like I've said in Baseball thread, I'm not a Giants nor Bonds fan but from a baseball persepctive, I dunno why the Giants weren't going head hunting with a 14 run lead.

Fuck that Morris better let one fly face side sometime tomorrow night.
As much as Bonds is hated I give him much props for showing unbelievable restraint for not charging. 5 straight pitches tryin to bean him.

If Bonds is such a man, tell him to bat without the hard plastic elbow-guard.

Plain and simple you should not get first base for getting hit in the ****** elbow guard. When I play baseballI drill anyone in the back who wears one.
And yes, I generally am also in the lineup and not afraid of retaliation.

why should he?
he had elbow surgery. he'd be stupid to not wear one.

see what a great guy barry is...
from sf chronicle...

After Bonds was hit, the only remaining question was whether Wright would retaliate. The last time he did that, hitting San Diego's Brian Giles after Jake Peavy hit Bonds on May 1, Wright gave up seven runs in the inning. Fortunately for Wright, he got clear direction from Bonds after the left fielder came around the score on an error.

"As I was walking up to the plate he came up to me and told me to stay focused and don't change my game plan. Go out there and pitch to win," said Wright, who did just that. He allowed three runs over seven innings to beat the Astros for the first time after starting his career 0-12 against them.

Bonds leans so far over the plate he can get hit with a strike - I've seen this. Why should he get rewarded when this happens? Why not bring in an off-day pitcher to plunk Barry? Like I've said before, it's obvious his fellow players don't back up Barry, that's probably why Barry doesn't charge the mound. How funny would that be if he charged the mound and his teammates all stayed on the bench?:toast:

Claro que No!:103631605 In fact, ALL HR records from 1995 until 2004 should be stored in a separate record book for safekeeping.:puppy:
