thats my season in a nutshell... actual money, ive broke about even, just barely ahead...

want to use this thread, for my next 50 plays... Been looking at a ML dog system and researching it, quite a bit since last saturday.. going to try it today with real money...

if your not interested, please disregard this post, as im really into research and trying to develop a winning system, more so than trying to beat anyone's record here.. to each his own (i guess).

i have also applied this format to the nhl and nba playoffs and although the profits were not great, it has been profitable..

Lets look at the next 50 plays, shall we...

plays for wednesday: may 17th

1. Colorado (+1.01)
2. Phillies (+1.20)
3. Mets (+1.38)
4. SD (+1.28)
5. Balt (+1.13)
6. Det (+1.25)
7. Tex (+1.27)

as a side note, we have 2 other plays that qualify as plays tonight:

Mavericks (ML)(+1.91)
San Jose (ML) (+1.33)

all my research efforts have been for a system that can hit ML dogs at a 50% clip. Lets see how the first 50 do.

all plays at pinnacle sports, listed pitchers and risking $100 in real money. goal is to hit 50%, lets see if we can be at 25-25 after the first 50..

in case anyone was wondering, this system is currently 12-13 in the nba playoffs, for around 8 units of profit...

as for the nhl, not quite as good, 17-26 but even that is still on the plus side..

MLB Selected Dog System: 3-4 (-0.34 units)

could not catch a break on day 1... i lost all 4 games by 1 run each... very early in this endeavor, of which i have high hopes..

worse case scenario, i lose a little money.. im pretty good on managing losses.

best case scenario, ive uncovered something that will change the way that i bet forever..

going to do it all right here.. at least 50 plays worth, if it shows promise, ill continue it on...

as a side note: the exact same system used on the nba and nhl playoffs.
nba: 12-14 (+7.00 units) and the last 2 losses were both by 1pt
nhl: 17-27 (+0.00 units) breaking dead even.

lets see what day 2 of this experiment brings. will post plays later..

all at pinnacle, listed pitchers, one unit risk...

system is set up to offer:

1. 100% mechanical.. no thinking on your part involved. plays are selected from a set criteria.
2. 100% flat betting... no specail plays, all are same.. simply raise the level of flat bet as account increases by set percentages..
3. 100% ML Dogs... with a goal of winning 50% of the plays, sort of the ultimate in scalping.
4. 100% multi sport.. to be used in all 4 major pro-sports...

will it meet these objectives, who knows???

2-2 (+0.59 units)(+$59) for day 2..

5-6 (+.025 units)(+$25) overall..

better day today but its very early, in the time to determine this systems worth..

Like i said, worse case scenario, im going to lose a little money over these first 50 plays...

best case scenario, this system will change the way that i bet forever..

Fhemq: im using a formula for picking LIVE dogs... these are dogs that (in my extimation) have a good chance of winning SU...

set up to try and hit at a 50% clip, if this occurs, ill make a fortune over time, as ive designed this to be multi-sport... just the pro-sports, this formula will not work in college sports..

there will be no plays tonight, as this is a 100% mechanical system and the plays are determined by the formula... makes no difference, what i may think..

will be back tomorrow...

im very interested to see how this works out for the nba playoffs, so far its running 12-14 (+7.00 units), dropping the last 2 games by 1 pt..

just took a quick look at friday and decided to go ahead and play:

SD (+1.00) risking one unit..

had to take this, while it was still at plus money... i will not play any favorites, with this system...

will add the remainder of fridays card tomorrow... also have phx as a large dog in the nba tonight..

50 plays!!! What is that going to tell you. You can't even begin to get an idea till at least 500 plays and I know many a players/stataticans that will tell you 500 isn't even enough.

Even if you go good or bad beyond your wildest dreams I would take NO STOCK in 50 plays to base my decision. What is that 1 week by that looks of it.

The problem with systems or whatever method people decide to use is that you need hundreds and thousands of data to possibily form an opinion and 99.9% of the players wont make that many plays to find out. I know I was one of them. I just finished something somewhat mechinical in hoops and hit close to 56% (my highest ever) on close to 700 plays and still am not sure if I have the confidence to go thru with it next year. If I would have judged this "system" after 50 plays I would have never possibily discovered something as good as I may think I have.

Not coming down on you SSI as I have always liked your passion towards gambling but I think you need to re-think your posistion on this and either run it the WHOLE year or don't even waste your time. Good Luck either way.

Ice, what you dont understand, is that i have backtested hundreds of plays already...

the 50 plays, is what im posting with real money... not the entire test...

i cant post everything that i do here, as im sure you understand that.. no offence btw..

ive gambled since 1986 and have been involved with too many systems to mention..

i might not can spot a true winning system long term but i usually can tell you, "what wont work"..

this system is 100% mechanical and there is absolutely no problem in pulling up past years data to see how this system has done..

call me an ass for this but i dont really want to do HOURS of research and come on here and give it out, especially if it would mean, someone else moving a line against me, causing me to get a lesser price..

first of all I apologize deeply if I came across a little rude. After re reading my post I felt like it sounded like I was being arrogant, I was not at all trying to be. Once again if you took it that way I apologize 100%.

It just seemed like you were putting all of your eggs in these 50 games. I must have missed understood you. Beleive me I want nothing more than to see any poster win and win big, it gives me confidence that this can be done.

I have been reading the rx for years and you were one of the 1st posters who caught my eye back in the day and have always enjoyed reading your posts. I know you know what you are doing, just wanted to throw my 2 cents in.

OBTW, keep up the posts about the whole rentals/party store/ commodities (I think it was this, my broker said they were too risky, he doesn't know I love risk, hell I gamble/invest in sports everyday) they are very interesting reads. It sounds like to me you are a "self made business man" , I can respect that 100%. Good Luck

Ice, no problem... i actually own my own convenience store..... its like anything else, it has its good points and bad points..

I may one day have to work for someone else but at the moment, i cant see myself doing that.. I enjoy being my own boss......... and yes i trade commodities and stocks, from time to time.. I only wish that i had more time to do this...

Trading commodities is the ultimate gamble (to me)....... Ive never understood, why more people here didnt do it..... Day trading the sp market, is the ultimate in gambling..... $250 per pt..... i usually trade the emini, $50 per pt...
