Phil - Milw
Should be a great game but the numbers favor Philly. Floyd is a decent pitcher with a 4-2 record but a poor era of 5.30, Bush has a 3-4 record and milw is 3-5 in the games he has pitched. Milw got the win last nite but I expecy Floyd and the Phillies to boucne back. The Phillies are 5-2 in games started by Floyd and winners of 8 of the last 10. They are the better team and for me i like their balance of thier line-up and tonight they are the play. PLAY THE PHILLIES + 20
Fla - Atl
Atl has been hot, making the plays and coming back at the key times. Tonight their other Ace goes in Smoltz. But for me something says play Fla. Atlanta for the last 10 years have struggled mightly vs a pitcher they have not seen. Nolasco is that guy tonight. Terry Pendleton is a great hitting coach, but his infor struggles against newcomers. Maybe its a reach but I will play Fla for a small Unit! Fla + 240 1 unit
St. L - Mets
After a long night with rain delays, both teams will probley skip batting practice as they are both sluggish. Both teams send decent pitchers in Traschel and Mulder and both have the ability to throw a shut out. I do not expect a lot of runs after a long night last night so for me I will Play UNDER 9.
Tor- Angels
The pitching matchup really favors the angels big in this game. Jansen is 1-3 with a era of 4.07, tor is 1-3 in his games while Escobar is 5-2 with a era of 3.46. Escobar is great at home and the Angels are getting a little better run support. Winners of 3 of last 5 while scoring 40 runs in thoes 5 games. Troy Glaus got hit last nite and may miss the game. For me, there is only 1 play here and it is ANGELS -35
