Now that ABC had decided to give the entire country Brent Musburger on prime time every Saturday night, does anyone know how that will affect the ESPN schedule? Will I still get my Ron Franklin and Holly Rowe fix every Saturday night or does this ABC thing replace it?

Looks like Franklin and crew won't be on as much, if at all on Saturday evenings, at least not calling the quality of games they're accustomed to. Sad, I hope they find a place for him to call more. I hope they find some time slot or network to put him on as he's one of the best.

Great info, but bad news. Maybe he'll get the Saturday night slot on the deuce.

I cant believe I am seeing some Sunday games on the schedule. I always thought Sunday and Monday Night were off limits.

Yeah I thought so too. Maybe the NFL should start playing some more Saturday games.

ESPN will still have the same amount of Saturday night games. This is just their preliminary schedule.

ESPN will announce the matchups once they get more familiar with the teams & matchups...

Maybe you're right but I don't think ESPN will want to go head to head against their sister network's Prime Time games.

Looks like the Pac-10 is going to be featured in many of the ABC games, they need it as previously East Coast and Midwest viewers rarely saw the conference outiside of USC.

Can hardly wait.

ABC always had a number of Saturday prime time games in years past and ESPN always had a game on at the same time. I doubt we will se a drop in ESPN games because of this.

Remember, ESPN does not have the Sunday night NFL game anymore, so they have some programming space open. Plus, traditionally, the NFL has not scheduled Sunday night games in competition with the World Series.

Believe it or not, there are some archaic rules set up way back in the day that prevent the NFL from broadcasting on Friday nights and Saturdays. There was some concern that the NFL on TV might siphon viewers from college and high school games.

I have wood just thinking about college football. Bring it on.
