OT:To those who average more than 8 posts a day!!

I'm just curious guys! This is directed To the people who fit this catagory!!
Do you people feel you are missing something in your life? Do you feel like you have NOTHING else in your life going on when you see yourself at the end of the day , and you realize you have been on the PRESCRIPTION site all day long?
This is in no way a knock on anyone , however I know that if my whole life consisted of posting on this site all day I would feel pretty sad (and somewhat embarrassed) about myself at the end of the night!
Please let me know how you guys feel on this matter!

You should ask Doc Mercer that question. I would say he has the most posts of anybody on here by far.

doc mercer averages 53 posts per day at the rx and E.O.G.

its possible he is posting from work

better question would be how many members have a full time job.

I don't think he works because he is posting at like 7 am till 11 pm. He claims he has some internet company.

To each his own BUT i do find it somewhat sad that i could come here on any given day and find the SAME GROUP of posters at this site or any other site for that matter and they never seem to miss a day INCLUDING sat & sun.
Do they have ANY friends? any family? do they enjoy the outdoors?
Dont get me wrong it's fun as hell to hang out here but sad as hell if it's the ONLY place you'r hanging out.

There are a lot of self employed\unemployed\full time gamblers here.

There are a lot of people who are glued to a computer all day\night for reasons other than the forums.

Hell, internet access is everywhere. I wonder how many people have sat through boring ass business meetings while on the forum-probably more than you think.

I find this ironic..TRK you spent who knows how many hours keeping track of peoples records?

You guys act like you're physically sitting in a forum for 10-12 hours, ever heard of multi-tasking? This is no different than watching TV.

I don't think anyone's 'whole life' is sitting in front of the computer on this forum.

I got a little over 4, whew. I don't put a lot of thought into how many posts someone makes though. There are guys that sit and watch the screen all day long, guys that take book, or guys that are working in teams and hitting the phones all at the same time etc.... That is before you get to poker players and others who might play online for a living. If you work in the business or operate whatever you do from home then its only natural they got more time to post. Those who work outside the home and are unable to post from work will surely have less. Not sure post count has direct correlation to what kind of life someone has, at least not in all cases.

I won't ever forget a hockey forum where they were allegedly making fun of someone for this very reason. At their first get together the guy is rolled out in a wheelchair with slobber all over his face. Almost completely paralyzed, he posted by having a thing in his mouth to push the keys with. I imagine the folks busting his ass might have felt a little embarassed after meeting him.

Very good point.

There are also a lot of people who can pump out 10-15 posts a day in 10-15 minutes (or less.....).
