To the Mod's.

I see many posters helping others and 99.9% of the times a "thank you" is never mentioned.

Is a "thank you" button an option???

Maybe people can't write the words, "thank you". ... or is obligation to help????????

What can possibly be in the mind.

Actually it is not a mtter of allowing something like this by the moderator but the real question is: Will the software allow it and if it does will it effect the speed at which posters can navigate the site.

I will check into the feasibility of a thank you icon..

wow, it would be cool, the software could even keep record of the number of thank yous a poster gets

THERX will never add any 'Hack" to this board. When you add a 'hack' like the thank you one at vbulletin.org, you have to modify the actual vbulletin php files, which in turn can hinder future updates. Will never happen.
