Just to let you, I've lost eight in a row so tread lightly.
DETROIT/Minnesota over 9 –1.01 (1:05 PM)<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
We have the hot Tigers going up against perhaps the most hittable pitcher in the majors in Brad Radke. Radke has very little chance of doing anything but getting smoked again as he’s done so in every one of his three road starts this season. In fact, Radke has started eight games and only one of those, against the Royals, has been of the quality variety. His road ERA is 10.80, the opposition is hitting .360 against him, and he’s allowed 11 jacks in 44 frames to go along with the 66 hits he’s surrendered. Kenny Rogers will toss for the Tigers. Rogers has good numbers and he can be tough but we’re not asking much from the Twins today. They have a decent offensive team that is more than capable of scoring runs and we’ve seen Rogers have some serious lapses throughout his career. The Tigers may put up eight or nine on their own this afternoon. Play: Over 9 –1.01 (Risking 1.52 to win 1.5).

Seattle +1.05 over OAKLAND (3:35 PM)<o></o>
Kirk Saarloos started the season in the bullpen for the A’s but was moved into the rotation because of injuries and it won’t be long before he’s back in the pen. Saarloos was awful as a reliever, he’s been horrid as a starter and this guy just shouldn’t be a favorite over anyone. He walks too many batters and he’s always behind in the count, which usually spells disaster. For the Mariners, Joel Pineiro has been a model of inconsistency, however, when he’s on he’s tough as nails. Prior to is last start he went 2-0 in three previous starts and didn’t walk a batter in 17 innings. His ERA over that stretch was 1.29. The man can pitch and if he’s focused he’s effective. The Mariners, despite losing the first two games of this series, are swinging the bats pretty good these days with 29 runs in their last five games. Play: Seattle +1.05 (Risking 1.5 units).

Cincinnati –1 +1.05 over PITTSBURGH (12:35 PM)<o></o>
Victor Santos has been living a charmed life his past three starts with games against the Marlins, Cubs and Nationals. Any pitcher could look good facing that trio but tings are about to change. It’s worth noting that Santos, in his fifth year in the majors, is earning just $500,000.00 a year, which is the major league equivalent to flipping burgers and that tells a story about is abilities. Prior to facing those three is ERA was 6.48. Ex-Pirate, Dave Williams will go for the Reds and after a brutal start he’s been rather effective lately. Against the Cardinals, Phillies and D-Backs he pitched a combined 20 innings and allowed just eight earned runs for a very respectable 3.60 ERA. Williams is also a southpaw and the Pirates are an ugly 1-13 against lefties. Play: Cincinnati –1 +1.05 (Risking 1.5 units).
