I stuck around and gave Hollywood a fair shot, I really did...

But after what just happened, I'm cleaning out my account and moving on.

If you're interested, here's the story...

I requested a Neteller WD for $6k on tuesday 5/16 (using their new banking format on their website) and called their CS dept to make sure everything was good to go...

I was told it would be processed within 24-48 hours and that I would have the $$$ by thursday at the latest...

Today, thursday 5/18, at about 4pm, I called their CS to see if it would be in there this afternoon, as I was told it would be...

However, I was told that the WD had been CANCELLED since they (the new financial service Hollywood uses) has no record of my Neteller account info!!!

They told me that even though I entered the Neteller info on their banking form when I requested the WD two days prior, they weren't able to "verify" the info!!!

Amazingly, they said since I hadn't DEPOSITED money into my account "recently" (i.e. in the past 10 days since they've been bought out) that they do not have my Neteller info on file to be "verified" and therefore the WD's would be processed via FedEx!

I told the girl I wanted the FedEx cancelled and the WD processed through Neteller immediately. She made an "exception" (if you want to believe her) and said she would "allow" me to use Neteller to withdraw even though it's against policy (since my Neteller hasn't been "officially registered" yet with the NEW company, i.e. by a deposit)...

But then she told me I would have to wait ANOTHER 24-48 hours! This was obviously unacceptable since I was given bad information the first time I called and the mistake was clearly made by Hollywood...

I wanted the money immediately. She refused and passed me along to a supervisor who was no help at all. I told him I wanted my Neteller WD processed immediately or I was taking ALL my money out...

He said it was "against policy" to process withdrawals immediately and that I would have to wait ANOTHER 24-48 hours for the WD to be processed. Then he corrected himself and said it may take an additional 24 hours to be SENT to Neteller AFTER the initial 24-48 hours...

Meaning it could take up to 72 hours to get the money that was supposed to be there today!

I told him since he wasn't willing to take care of his customers and make an "exception to policy" and process my WD immediately (since it was already due this afternoon), that I was taking out all my money. Which I just did.

So there you go. Hollywood clearly isn't in the "customer service" game anymore.

I know it's not a big deal to some...but if I'm told something, I expect you to come through on it. And if you screw up (which happens sometimes, no biggie) then make it up to me. All they had to do was make one phone call and take care of the Neteller WD this afternoon. They refused and it cost them a customer.

it's been long enough for them to have these problems with payouts

Never known them to stiff anyone but they got a little SIA in them, they seem to take it personal when you ask for your money. You will get delays, broken promises, requests to send and resend stuff etc..... If you can outlast them and not bet in the meanwhile you will eventually get your cash, can be quite a headache though.

Oh and they used to be the master at random "internal audits" of your account. You'll be hearing about some of these from the posters who stay there if things have not changed. Was nothing to call and ask where your w/d was and be told it had been sent to their audit department, give them a couple of weeks to look things over.

I almost sent 5k there after the NCAA tournament but decided to reload at Mansion and Matchbook instead. I'm glad I didn't send money there!

People should be more patient and not so quick to judge. I won't play there for the simple reason that I play at sportsbook and I don't think I could play at both with my history at both places. Regardless, if Holly is going to have the same lines as sportsbook they are a usefull place to play. Oh and for the record I have some $$$ tied up there as well on bets that were pending.I am still waiting for them to grade a bet from a day or so ago but I am sure they will. I had already called up to confirm they still had them and they did. Anyways, basically all I am saying is be patient, you aren't going to be stiffed.

Most companies that go through transitions and 90% there are bad things that happen to slow things and do bad business during the transition period. I see many had Neteller problems and it was suggested by Wil and the Hollywood Managers to do a small deposit so they have the Neteller info on file...etc.. to ensure a quick and timely payout... I have done all of that so far and will be taking out within the next few days so I'll update in detail how it goes.

I'm on the 6 week waiting list after they sent my money via check to the wrong address. I'm still dealing with the hasel, with little hope of seeing my money anytime soon. And poor customer service to go along with it. Each time you talk to a new person who hasn't a clue what's been going on. And when I was told to call back and talk to Victor, I did so twice at the appointed times they told me to and neither time was I able to talk to him. In fact, the second time they told me to call back he wasn't even there.

Still very pissed about this whole thing.

Don't blame you Omni, sorry to hear, real hassle, I've went through that in the past before. Like I mentioned I did everything they suggested so I'll see how smooth it goes, good or bad I will post everything that happens.

I got a $3000+ check today from fed-ex .I made a $20 deposit to neteller to "verify my account" but they sent it fed -ex any way.Oh well, it least i`m paid in full

I got the run a round on the Neteller issue and they sent a ck by Fed Ex that I had NOT requested. I will never go back as long as the new company is the owners. LT

Agree I'm done with HW too

I got my check and went to the bank today, they didnt like that the check had no Address on it so now my $$ has a HOLD on it until June 30 :lolBIG:
