Is this kid as good as he's shown in this series? I don't watch the NBA in the regular season, but this kid is flat out unstoppable!!! How in the hell did he ever get traded for Tyson Chandler? He looks like MVP caliber to me. Damn, is he good.

Kind of ironic that the Bulls need a player just like Brand. How they could let him get away is beyond comprehension.

He is not NBA first-team because the Clippers didn't play the Suns for 82 games this season.

Against the Suns' swiss cheese defense, its easy to look like you're all-NBA.

ONe reason, he's not a name brand player yet, he will be after this year...this is another media driven popularity contest, Shaq should not be 1st team.

6 of the 13 games have been against the suns though clip, way higher than the proportion of times they played the suns in the regular season, so this isn't a valid comparison I don't think. Don't get me wrong, the guy is good. Him and Marion have been wonderful.

He only played 4 games against the Suns in the regular season...exact same numbers. 78 games against teams that don't inflate offensive numbers.

I am just saying his regular season was just as impressive as his playoff run. But he has manhandled Phoenix. I knew that would happen coming in.

Against Phoenix in playoffs:
30.0 points
10.7 rebounds
3.50 blocks
4.8 assists

WOW! :toast:

Have you seen Nowitski play? And Tim Duncan is already regarded as the greatest power forward to ever play but Brand is a stud - they took James and Nowitski over him - when you look at it like that it makes sense.

I was surprised Shaq made 1st team.

That was a joke. How anyone can justify Shaq getting a vote over Brand for this season's play is beyond me.

He played in 59 games while Elton played in 78. Absolute joke.

Also ironic that the Wizards, who are in desperate need of a player just like Brand, turned down a swap from the Bulls of Brand for the #1 pick(Kwame). Outstanding.

I agree Brand has stepped his game up big time and was already solid before this season this year and should've been picked over Shaq but since Brand's name is not "sexy" like a Shaq or Nowitski, he got screwed.

Hmmm little premature on that one.

Karl Malone? Kevin McHale? Elgin Baylor? Charles Barkley? Could make an argument that all these guys (McHale being the hardest...) were better than Timmy D.
