I am aware of the outstanding outing by Leiber, and Clement has been shakey at best, but the Sox at a dog price is an awesome play. The small park will play to the advantage of the Sox, imo and I know Phillies, better than any team in the league...I have a system, which I use for pitchers, and Leiber is due for a bad outing...and like Leiber, Clement is due for a good one...Like in Baltimore, there will be a huge fan support for the Red Sox here, tonight and all weekend. Phillies are sporting 3 guys in the linup, that are basically minor leaguers, although Vivtorino has done well since the rowand injury. I feel the game will be quite close, but the horrid Phillies bullpen, who has been used alot lately, will wilt under the pressure, again, and Red Sox get game one of this series!! Red Sox bats are hot as hell, and Phillies are having trouble scoring....this team has the capability of going on a slup opposite of their haot streak, and the slump continues tonight!!

I'm having trouble wanting to bet on the Red Sox's today because, 1) is Ortiz going to start at first? 2) If he does that means Youkilis is out of the lineup and he has been a big part of that teams success, 3) Clement is a very bad pitcher this year and Lieber is going off a close no hitter. I'm mainly just breaking this down because I want to know what your thoughts are for taking Boston today? Good luck with the plays I love the Padres tonight too even though I'm a Mariners fan there was an article in the paper the other day of him saying he had "dead arm" and it may take a few start to work through it. A horrific team with a pitcher going through a tough time, vs. the hottest team in baseball with a good pitcher on the hill. I can't believe Vegas made SD the underdog. Good luck today!
