I have been waiting about a year for this day, great book, and hopefully a greart movie....I just read some details about the movie and saw it only got 2 stars in some critics eyes. I will be the judge of that. If youi like to read, might I suggest "Angels and Deamons"...the prelude to Da Vinci Code. I will tell what I think of the movie when I get back, but will not reveal any of the details....just read It is 150 minutes long!!

I hope you dont think this movie resembles anything regarding facts. That movie is about is realistic as Harry Potter. Not one historic truth in that movie.

have fun maxxx. tell your friends NOT to see poseidon but mission impossible 3 rocked! i was seriously disappointed in poseidon. special effects save it but its nothing like the original poseidon adventure.

Chop, did I in any way, shape or form, suggest anything eluding to my believing in the story line....the answer is no, just excited to see the movie, as I have read the book, and thought it was a great story...as for believing that the story line is true or not, I think thats up to the viewer...but your opinion is noted!! Jeezzz

In Poland every newspaper/magazine this week has a story about the Code and its reliability
Movie is usually far worse than a book so I don't even plan to see the film

WOW...what a let down!! Story line was interesting, but lacked drama, emoition, and action. With the tremendous acting capabilities of Hanks, they gave him NOTHING to work with!! I found it boring at times, and its very lucky to get 2 stars imo. McLellon's character was very good, but subpar performances by the rest...I am now looking forward to X-Men next week...

Hate to say it but, if ppl the way I do about the film, it will be a huge box office flop if word gets out...Unless you are a movie fanatic like me, i would wait for the DVD.

one great hoax, created by a guy named Plantard (dont know about that spelling)... now this guy Brown, is going to make millions..

ive watched several documentaries this week, seems all the channels are running them...

did anyone see the one last night about the guy who found a lost Da Vinci painting, of the 2 Holy Babies... bought it for $1500, now it could be a da vinci..

What channel did you see that on? I liked to see a re-run. That is an amazing find if it turns out to be authentic.

I don't get why you say boring. I felt that it was good. Better than anything else lately I have seen at the box office. It's a movie that keeps you on your feet.

I'd suggest everyone read the book before seeing the movie...because if you see the movie first and don't like it, there's no chance you'll go back and read the book, which would be a shame because it's definitely worth reading.

But like BIGSHOT said, read Angels and Demons first.

I never read the book. I just got back from seeing the flick and I didn't enjoy it either. I usually love long movies but this one just dragged on for too long. I give it a 4 out of 10.
