Maybe make a gambling only topic so when a newbie or such gets here this can help speed up the learning process. It could be used as a learning tool for everyone. I know I have tried to start as many threads as I could think of when I was trying to learn about scalping, middiling, how much a half a point is in hoops, etc... It would have been extremly helpful for me.

Personally I don't believe there should be any prize money involved in a subjective thing like post of the week. The Rx. is making a concerted effot to get sponsers involved in event contests like the Kentucky Derby for example.
I know there has been efforts to identify posts or threads of the week or month in the past but it is never easy and usually ends with differances of opinion.

That is what I am talking about - everyone has an opinion on an idea like this - sarcastic or not.
There used to be a strictly handicapping only forum here at The Rx. that did well for quite a while called "Technically Peep". In time it lost steam after the moderator Peep left The Rx.
