I believe ther Suns would win this game more than 50% of the time, more like 54%
I disagree...the Clippers have gone 2-3 there this season. In a long series like this, the Suns do not have the advantage they have during the regular season where a team can prepare for their unique style of offense.
As the series has progressed, the Clippers have gotten better and better at defending the Suns. Right now, the Suns have no answer for what we are doing offensively (and never will)...but more importantly, they are having a hard time playing their style of basketball.
Not only did we blow them out in Game 6, we dominated in the 2nd half of Game 5 in Phoenix. We were down 19 points in the 3rd...then had a 3 point lead with 3 seconds left.
To win in the playoffs, you need to be able to make defensive adjustments to win. The Suns have no adjustments to make...they can't stop Brand in the post. They just have to try and stop Maggette from getting to the basket. Even Q Ross exposed Nash as the terrible defender he is by taking him into the post.
Nash will continue to have a difficult time getting the running game going because the Clippers will take whoever he is guarding and post him up. Even if we don't use that player as an offensive option, it keeps Nash from getting out on the break.
