Anyone suprised to see ND and OS as the two early favorites for next year? both at 5-1.

I kinda am, would not bet either at all, but interesting, not sure who I would select as my early Favorite, alot happened in the off-season with a few of the big name college football personel.

I wish I could remember watching them both play last year at the Fiesta Bowl, unfortunately my vision was blurred and of course I do not really remember it. But it was fun and supposedly I was on the jumbo-tron a couple times.

Iowa will be undefeated longer into the season than OSU.......as both will be undefeated heading into their early season game at Iowa City where Iowa will smoke them.

Umm, they would be only underdogs in 2-3 games all year looking at the schedule currently.

OHIO STATE +2.5
@ MICHIGAN +3
TITLE GAME +3 to +10

If Iowa is still undefeated at that point you could be looking at Iowa as a home favorite vs OS or a pick'em, although I agree with you that there is no way they go into Michigan as a Favorite even it Michigan is playing at just above .500 ball. Looks like a pretty feathery schedule, they will have to really prove who they are in those two games.

Iowa still has to win the games they are favored in. They will trip on one of them

The last 3 games look to be wearing on them Northwestern, Wisconsin, then Minnesota

I think I'll root for WV this year. I'd love to see someone other than USC, OK, TEX, ND, or OSU win it.

I donot know much about them, but according to the odds, they should be a top teir team.

from a personal standpoint I really hope that these teams are not as good as expected, it will probably lead to a lot of money to start the season for us dog bettors.

Florida is not a good bet.

the problem is their schedule next year is nasty. not going to look it up, but its nasty.

plus they are reported to still have the same offensive line and running back problems that dogged them last year. I can see improvment in year two for their offense anyway, but the schedule is a tough road to hoe as far as betting them to win it all.

OSU has a good a chance as any to win it but there's no value at 5-1. So hard to run the big ten table on top of winning at texas and winning the bowl game. Don't think any team should be as high as 5-1 this season. It's wide open

I agree this has the beginnings of how wide open march maddness was this year.

WVU's ranking should be high enough where if they go undefeated they should be in the national championship. Here's their schedule:

the schedule doen't look that tough, just basing on last years teams. I dont know much about this years teams but it would be intereting if they won out and also a couple other teams did as well. But it needs to happen first.

Iowa is good for at least 10 wins ...

One of the top 5 qbs in the country ... the top rb in the Big 11 this year
Solid offv line ... solid defv line ... one of the top safties and tes in the country .... a young wideout corp but one that has a ton of talent and James Cleveland is gonna shine as he is allready on campus and showed in spring drills why he was one of the premier wideouts in Texas last year ...One of the toughest places to win in the last 5 yrs

Ya can bank on Iowa BCS bound fellas as the schedule this year sets up very nicely and KF has done a super job in building quality depth
