The offensive powerhouse Royals have handed Carpenter his worst start of the season. This game is a great example of why baseball isn't a "send-it-in" sport. Baseball is way too dependant on one player (the pitcher) for that.

Edmonds just struckout with guys on second and third and one out. Did Edmonds suddenly get old or what? His numbers are way down and he's dropping in the batting order.

Yea if i remember Edmonds always is a fast starter so this may be the worst start he has ever had to a season but at 36 you have to expect it to happen.
