Bulaga, who has long held the Hawkeyes as his favorite, now has 12 scholarship offers from college football programs all around the Midwest. Find out if he could be Iowa's next commitment in this premium update.

Scout.com Player Evaluation:

A well-rounded athlete with good size. …Long stride. …Gets off the line and finds soft spots in the zone. …Very good hands and makes plays in the red zone. …Intense football player with a nasty streak. …Could play defensive end, tackle or O-Line at the next level.

Bulaga will probably be the #6 player in Illinois this year. Hawks are also the current favorite for Dale Martin, probably #1 or #2 player in Illinois.

Clark: educate me on Martin ... I spend a lot of time at the Hawkeye Chat room as I grew up 50 miles from Iowa City and this fall has a special look to it

“Physically Toddrick passes the eye test in a big way,” said Catholic-Pointe Coupee head coach Neil Weiner. "A funny story about him is when we tried to measure his vertical he jumped off the chart we have in the gym. It’s somewhere between 39” and 43” but we really couldn’t tell exactly what it was because he jumped higher than we could measure. He is just an amazing athlete.”

As always, thanks Doc

Safe to say Iowa will continue to be one of the top ten elite programs in the country for at least the next few years and probably longer.

Martin is from same high school, Bolingbrook, as Bain and (cough) Kyle Williams. Has offers from Louisville, Tennessee, Ohio State, Nebraska, WV, Wisconsin, etc. I haven't watched the video's of him yet to say much else.

While the Hawks are doing (very) well recruiting in Iowa this year (as there is a lot more talent than in the years past) Jordan Bernstine still hasn't decided. He blew up at the Ohio State NIKE camp a couple weeks ago, gaining MVP honors for the testing stage (testing speed, strength, etc.). He will be getting a lot more offers soon. Tyler Sash received an offer today as well.

I believe scout.com had Nielson (LB commit) rated #1 in midwest.. and Sandeman and Huntmark were in the top 10.
