STL - KC
2 teams living close to each other, but many, many miles apart otherwise. STL comes in winners of 4 in row and 7 of 10 while the Royals are being the Royals losing 8 in a row. today STL sends Suppan with a record of 3-3 and era 4.61. KC counters with S Elarton who is 0-4 with a era 3.97. Everything saids STL is way better, but on Sundays, KC plays better at home and Elarton, even though no wins is their best pitcher. I think STL will rest some players and overlook the lowly Royals so I will PLAY KC + 200 1 1/2 units
Cubs - W/S
Cubs try again to get a win vs cross town rivals. Today they send Zambrano to the mound who is 2-2 with era 3.34. The Sox send Jose Conteras, who comes of DL with a bad hip. He has a 5-0 record and an amazing era of 1.41. The Cubs ride a 3 game losing streak and are 3-7 ovcer the last 10 games. They look like a team on life support, they are desperate for anything good and may get it from Zambrano who has won his last 2 and shutting out Wash. in his last start. They have no offense, and it is more than missing Derek Lee. He can't bat 27 times a game. Everyone is pathetic, but today they have a decent chance if Zambrano can step up and pitch like he is capable. He can shut them down and Conteras, may not be sharp after coming off the DL. His mechanics maybe off and he will be hittable. For that reason I will PLAY CUBS + 200 1 UNIT
Tor - Colo
Tor sends T Lilly to stop a 2 game losing streak. Tor had been hitting until running into a pesky Colo team by winning 6 of their last 10. Their bats have cool off since beening in the mile high city and they have not gotten any decent outtings from their pitching staff either. Lilly is 4-3 with era 3.52. While Colo sends J Fogg who is 2-2 with era 4.31. The ball carries much better during the day and I really expect Tor bats to wake up and give them a lead which will allow their pitchers to pitch ahead and therefore the advantage falls to Lilly and Tor. I will PLAY TOR FOR 2 Units
Made good money yesterday. Most people will think these 2 dogs are stupid. But we will have to wait till after the game to see. BOL to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
