POLL: SHARP Bettors place overnight wagers to shape the lines, TRUE OR FALSE??

I consider myself very sharp in NFL,CFB,NBA,CBB and I have
to say overnights were part of my arsenal cause I usually
had a better line than when I woke up and checked the next day.

Just about every sharp I know bets overnights. Like you Jamman

I think that is no,,,

If a line has Extreme value I do hit it early,,, if not I wait,,,

and for those that are MIDDLErs and Scalpers,,, its a definate no,,, they wont the line to go with them,,, not push the line down,,,,

False !

#1 You cant bet enough to an overnight number, sometimes if i bet a nickle it moves the price. Gameday its much different.
Most "sharps" only play doggies anyway!

My opinion is only the people/groups with the money and respect to move a number across the board will bet overnights and its not because they want to bet it but because overnight limits are usually small and they want to shape that number for the next day when full limits are in effect.

Also there is nothing sharp about betting a team the night before and finding out the next day that they will be resting some of their regular starters and now your stuck with a stale number.

Sometimes...

If playing early will more than likely get them the best line, then yes.

Same can be said for playing right before gametime as well.

Sorry but you are way off on the scalpers here. I have done my fair share of it over the years & I love betting overnights. I call it taking an early position on which way you think a line will move. No one is right all the time but I know damn well I was pretty good at getting it right.

Football is something I usually love to bet the night the lines come out as I'm already set with my #'s so I can fire away.

Smaller sharps - the "$10 geniuses" play overnights. The ruin the markets for the bigger sharps. The better-funded sharps wait until limits go up to play.
