Tampa Bay -132 Looks Good [83%] (5-1 +$512)

YTD: 5-1 +$512 since i started my own picks.

This thread where i post my favourite pick. Yesturday it was the GOY Chi White Sox and it was an easy win

Today i like Tampa Bay -132

Both teams arent very good, but the difference is that Tampa Bays pitcher kills Floridas!

SCOTT KAZMIR for TB:
Last 3 starts 3-0, 0.92 ERA!!! 1.118 WHIP! He has given up only 2 runs in his last 3 games!
At home he is 2-0 with a 1.8 ERA and a 1.050 WHIP!
All games he is 6-2 with a 2.73 ERA.
Right now he is on a 4 in a row winning streak!

Dontrelle Willis for Florida:
Last 3 starts 0-2 and a whooping 8.26 ERA! He has given up 16 runs in his last 3.
On the road he is 0-1 with an 2.83 ERA.
All games he is 1-4 with a 5.53 ERA
Right now he is on a 6 in a row loosing streak!

Both bullpens arent much to look at, equally crappy stats.

Florida in day games are 3-12 while TB are 5-5
Florida past 7 games are 2-5 while TB are 4-3
Florida are 8-15 on the road compared to TB 10-11 at home

I expect TB to win this game by 1 run or more.

ay mate. thanks for taking the time to do the write-up.

u posted a funny line in there though that i got a kick out of.

"i expect tampa bay to win this game by 1 run or more"

good luck on your play....fading the marlins has been nice this year...even if they somehow jump out to a lead, they find ways to lose it.

im gonna have to google this one, but i dont think you can win a baseball game by anything else besides 1 run or more? maybe theyt started giving 1/2 runs for steroid-produced homeruns. :lolBIG:

not trying to nit-pick your write-up. everyone makes mistakes when you are typing that much. it gave me a good laugh though, and i agree with your selection anyway!

yeah i know u cant win a baseball by anything else besides 1 run... i was indicating it will be a close game and they would end up winning by 1-2!!!

This is a tough game because Dontrelle looked dominating last time out against the Braves throwing 9 innings but didn't get the win. He has thrown 5 scoreless innings in his career against Tampa. Kazmir has been unbelieveable recently. I think this is going to be a low scoring pitchers dual a definate game under game as both managers have 0 faith in there bullpen and let there starters usually go into the 100-115 range in pitch count if needed. I think Dontrelle is value here at +127.

i know what you meant, mate.

but when you say "i expect them to win by 1 or more", you havn't really narrowed the score down. if they would of won by 100, well, that is more than 1. so is 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9.....

i figured you meant win by about 1-3 runs.

ANYWAY! LOL. Nice pick! I was on them DRAYS myself. :howdy:
