Any word on whether or not Bernardini will be running in the Belmont?

Think you will also see several horses that ran in the Derby come back for Belmont.

My guess is this will be a large field, and once again very wide open...We will have rested horses, as well as some new ones who we have not seen. Who ever runs there will be no heavy favorite at all and a great shot at some BIG odds............G.

sunriver will be there that is for sure.

I would not say for sure yet on
Bernardini. This is a very young horse that now has won a classic and might not push it.

Steppnwolfer is primed for this spot. If barbaro was going to the belmont with a triple crown chance, steppnwolfer is the only horse that could of beat him in the belmont.

BTW
Benardini won by default yesterday. I am tired of hearing he ran a great race by these analyst. When he can do that in a 20 horse field at CHurchill downs in the first weekend of may, then call him a great horse.

Difference between a great horse and running a great race. Even with only 8 horses left, it was a solid field and he won convincingly and going away. He did run a great race. That said, he's probably not a huge threat for the Belmont.

Bernardini is questionable for the Belmont right now.

Probables:
Deputy Glitters
Bluegrass Cat
Steppenwolfer
Jazil
Bob and John
Hemingway's Key

Questionable:
Bernardini
Point Determined
Sweetnorthernsaint
Sunriver
High Cotton
Oh So Awesome
Lewis Michael

Out:
Brother Derek

This is based on the owner's and trainer's comments.

Bernardini towers over the field if in-- he's a champ in the making.

SNS has not been at 100% health since before the Derby in three key areas-- if they run him in the Belmont i'll shoot the trainer myself.

Bluegrass Cat would be the worst value bet-- perfect Derby trip & soft competition before that.
