I've had an Ipod Mini for at least a year now, I love it, I load it up with books and a some of music for the gym. It will be impossible to go back to a CD type player,

Other than I-tunes, which is a piece of shit software, the Nano makes almost daily trips to the Gym at 6 am bearable.

I-tunes pisses me off though...much prefer drag and drop playlist capabilities on other units..

Gotta have one. With sites like limewire and morpheus, you have to get an ipod (or other compatable mp3 player) to hear great songs. You know main stream radio will NOT play any good music on a consistant basis.

We got a sandisk and it is so easy and great! if i can dowload and upload then anyone can. the saddisk has the fm tuner built right in, which i love, so when im at the gym i can tune into a TV program on one of their TVs.

You can't, you have to make the playlists in I-tunes then d&d them into your Ipod icon when it is attached to your computer...

You can double tap a song while it is playing and it will put it into a "on the go" playlist on the Ipod, but you can't move it into one you have created.

I only use this feature to know what songs I want to delete off the Ipod.

If you guys don't mind spending a couple bucks a good Ipod manager is Anapod Explorer
I've been using it for about 10 months.

KingBill...thanks for the link. I've been hating on Apple i-tunes for about six months now and I think you just provided a link that resolves all my issues.

It's worth $25 just to try it out...Amazing that as smart as Apple can be they can't spend the extra $10,000 to significantly upgrade their software.
