Yes..a new wager so I might have an outside chance of cashing a bet...Say there is an eight horse field....I would like to wager that the horse I select beats more than one horse....with this bet I may have a chance...I mean if Pinnacle makes 100 million and Bodog makes big$$..and sportsbook.com thrive...they should throw guys like me a bone...instead of having to hit a superfecta.....I cant even hit a winner...a horse to place is tough....also its no wonder that all these books make big $$...when u lay -110...they are getting +110 on every wager they take...am I correct or am I correct...IF every bet I made was +110 I'd be on the cover of Forbes Billionaire edition too...But I give them credit...pretty cool operaters..these books....
Just go to the exchanges-- you can get things like $2.30 to show when parimutuel's $2.10...almost double the parimutuel payoff on yesterday's Preakness winner....You can lay horses to lose--& string parlays of that together....there is no easier money in gambling than that.dickiesmiles said:

Also, for these big races so many other books add props & matchups: pinny, wagerweb, skybook, etc... making parimutuel pools not too attractive: for instance-- in the old days i would've win or place dutched Bernardini & Barbaro: my win choices @ 12-1 & 1/2 respectively-- but i did not even do this in the exchanges, where i saw as high as 23-1 & +110(& who knows, if one had put in a bid at even higher odds, it might've been matched)-- but there were just other easier props @ similar or even higher odds(than the net of the dutch): This year's time faster than last year's Preakness was -110/115... Bernardini to beat Like Now was as high as +120. The problem lay with Barbaro's low win odds(so low that his place price & show prices would've been higher)--he would've needed to be at least 5/2 to make the riskier dutch palatable: even at say, 8/5, the net of the dutch would've been comparable to a $4.00 & change mutuel-- about the same as an easier-to-catch prop.
