...doesn't fix its games for TV ratings?

Why isn't Kobe and King James still playing? Or are the Pistons more of a draw? I can't figure it out. I'm always told how it has always been fixed. But where are the Knicks? Celtics? How come Miami and New Jersey went only 5 games? Wouldn't that series make a lot of money if it lasted longer?

I just don't get it......

I'd think the fact that there are 3 7-game series out of a possible 4 would be more eyebrow-raising than the 1 series that didn't go 7.

They don't fix games - but if one team gets up by too many points they start to get an abundance of bullshit calls to get back in the game - I will tell you one thing - the NBA's nightmare matchup is SA and Detroit - the average fan could care less about team basketball and defense and overall greatness and would much rather see the Suns sprint up and down the court or Kobe and Vince Carter jack shots left and right - you might want to take that into consideration with the Mavs tonight - SA should have won this series 4-1 if not 4-2 but for officiating.
