rome gets all his material from his writers now. his show on espn had such dismal ratings that he was relegated to his current time slot. he panders to his audidence and does a good job at it. he is on cruise control and basically collects a big check. i cant stand the guy, and his superiority complex, especially as it pertains to gambling.
Don't really watch Rome on ESPN, but his radio show is very good. And it's not all about him--the clowns (or "clones") that call/fax/email in are the funny ones. Some of the funniest stuff I've ever heard on the radio was from the faxes/emails on his show.
