Two good pitchers tonight in Peavey and Smoltz. The two faced each other earlier in the season, where smoltz won 2-0 in Atlanta. I had Atlanta yesterday, watched the whole game and felt very lucky to win that game. They are struggling offensivly right now. Giles first two at bats were 6 pitch strikeouts, and hes their lead-off hitter. Atlanta made Cruz look like an all-star.
SD is comming off 3 straight losses to the mariners, are back at home, and have their ace pitching tonight. I love the Padres in this game.
