Millenium offers for a signup bonus:

25% cash with 6x rollover or
25% freeplay with 4x rollover

which would you choose and why?

(freeplay means you can make bets with the cash, but only
get to keep any winnings)

My thoughts were that one should take the 25% Bonus Play,
and play a 50/50 arb and then you'd have the
equivalent value of the cash with less play through.

Am I missing something?

No, you are correct.

But comparing both scenarios is very close.

Yes. You don't keep the bonus when you win at bonus book side of the arb.

Edited to add, take the cash. You are getting 2x the bonus at 1.5x the rollover.

But, if you play a 50/50 arb with the freeplay, you are effectively
getting the 25% cash, with less playthrough.

Unless someone convinces me otherwise, I still think the
25% freeplay is a better deal.

And what's stopping you from doing the exact same with the cash while keeping twice as much?

I believe you are.

You will have to explain this to us. If I'm lucky and play side A @ +100 with the freeplay and side B @ +100 with the same amount of cash and side A wins I lose all the cash at the other book but only win half that amount with the freeplay so my return is then 12.5% cash.
