thanks.

here's my angle, tell me what you think.

1) play against any team coming off a game 7 in the 2nd quarter. I included where the game 7 team was playing next to the score.

2006: Clippers outscore Suns 36-27 (Home)
2005: Detroit outscores Indians 29-18 (Away)
2005: Phoenix outscores Dallas 34-25 (Away)
2005: Spurs outscore Detroit 28-23 (Away)
2004: Indiana outscores Miami 23-21 (Away)
2004: Lakers outscores Minnesota 23-20 (Home)
2004: Indiana outscores Detroit 26-15 (Away)
2003: Phillies loses quarter 19-25 (Away)
2003: Sac outscores Dallas 29-26 (Away)
2003: Dallas outscores Spurs 34-30 (Away)

So in the last 10 contests it went 8-2.

I know it's not enough for a trend but my theory here is the first quarter will be when Detroit has more energy and Miami is a bit rusty. 2nd quarter would be when Detroits legs show the most and Miami should win the quarter.

I actually looked at the same situation with teams coming off a Game 7 win......to see what would be the play in the 1st Qt.

It should be Det -1.5 in the 1st Qt.

BetIt....you posted Mia +1.5 after you reasoned that Detriot should win the 1st Qt......what's with that?
