GL with the picks tonight. I'm curious what you'd suggest as a money management system for following your picks. For example, on an average night you are risking about 15 units. What % of your bankroll are you willing to risk. I've heard some players say the don't want to risk more than 5% of their bankroll on any night which would require about a 250 unit bankroll for your picks. That seems kind of high but with a 100 unit bankroll you'd have nights where you are risking 15 % or more of your bankroll. I've also heard players recommending using a "half kelly" system to increase your bets as your bankroll increases. I'd be interested on you input.

Thanks.

Well to be completely honest I wouldn't be able to make a good suggestion without knowing a lot more about ones individual bankroll, and I really wouldn't want to even then.

I have about 50k as a bankroll, but I really am not sure how far I would go if I started losing say 75-100 ($7,500-$10,000)units.

I make my plays according to where my bankroll is at the current time, and how confident I am at the current time....Example- early on most of my plays were for 2 units ( to win or risk 200) , after I heated up and the season started to unfold and I started feeling more confident and my balance went up so I started upping my units to 300 -400- 500, Obviously 500 being the highest.

Personally I don't risk more than 1% ($500) on any one play....I use to but not anymore.

Thanks for the reply. Ranger's game tonight was a tease as they fought back twice to tie and the take the lead in the 7th only to give it right back in the 8th with two damn walks to load the bases with none out. I can't stand these relief pitchers who can't throw strikes. Need the Cards to hold on now.

Relievers this year act like theyve got a script from Vince McMahon and have to make it interesting.

Good thing STL hung on.

I thought Isringhausen was definitely going to blow our RL . He threw 8 balls in his 1st 11 pitches. Feel lucky to hang on to the win in that one.

Still don't know how a major league pitcher with a 4 run lead walks two men to allow the winning run to come to the plate in the bottom of the 9th.
