Another great move by Isiah. Curry for the #2 overall pick.

On top of that Clip the Bulls have the option to swap first round picks with the Knicks again next year which should almost certainly be a top 5 pick again.

The NBA draft is a farce. If players would do 4 years of college maybe you would see some emerging superstars. Now the first pick doesn't mean a thing unless you have a player like Lebron in the draft.

I think that is true for more than not...but what would college have done for Lebron, Kobe, Dwight Howard, or even Shaun Livingston? Nothing. How can you tell a kid that he has to wait to make 6 figures so that he can have a college coach run his life for 4 years, go to classes that he won't attend and then not have a job since he is on scholarship? You need to keep this open for the few that will make the job the right move..there isn't a perfect system as baseball is a reason why...who has more busts than any other sport.

19 is a good age....let them play basketball...get laid....not go to class....and get paid by boosters for a year.

It's a fine line that needs to be addressed though. Some of these kids are not mature enough to handle the money and things that go along with becoming a professional athlete at such a young age.

At least in college, they have to play by the coaches/schools rules or they won't see the floor. They learn (or experience) some sort of discipline.

The successful young players that had success in the league were also "good kids". They were mature enough to handle the adjustment.

I hate to burst your bubble, but I heard this is one of the worst drafts in a while.

With no HS players this year's draft is atrocious. If the rule hadn't come out Oden would have been a clear number one for the Raps. Who do they take this year?

But wait till 2 years from now. You are going to see one of the best drafts since the LEBRON,WADE, and CARMELO year.
