BIG night last night with that Mets comeback coupled with the Tigers comeback. In April I was down about 5 units then I found this site and I'm up around 4 units now. This site has definately helped me see a new perspective on betting on baseball. With that said here are my LOCKS of the day for Wednesday:

Houston -149 over Washington: This is a very favorable line I think as I feel Houston should be a much bigger favorite. Lets not kid ourselves Washington is a horrific ball club and Houston has the highest OPS in the NL against left handed starters. O'Connor should have his hands full with a lineup full of right handed hitters. Oswalt is due for a dominating performance after multiple lackluster, Un-Oswalt type outings. I look for Houston to win by more than 2 run deficit.

Red Sox's -125 over Yankees: I'd take just about anyone over Randy Johnson right now. That guy is flat out done, finished, career is over. He has nothing left in the tank and it's fairly obvious him and Posada make a horrible pairing. Last year he had a personal catcher because he felt Jorge couldn't catch him, either they will plug Stinnett in tonight hurting there offense or go with Posada and watch the balls fly all over the field. It doesn't hurt that Sheffield is playing with a broken bone in his hand as well. I'm probably the worlds biggest Clement basher but I just feel Boston will out slug NY tonight after coming on late last evening.

Oakland +131 over Chicago: I'm playing tendencies on this one. Anyone who has gambled on baseball over the last few years know there are 2 things that are certain there a lot of upsets in baseball and Mark Buerhle gets lit up by the Oakland Athletics. Buerhle got shelled twice last year by Oakland and stands 2-8 in his career against Oakland. I like the White Sox's a lot this year but when they got a solid starter with Haren on the hill, coupled with the fact that Buerhle hasn't proven he can beat Oakland I think this is great value at this game here.

Texas -143 over Angels: Not a big believer in Robinson Tejada as I could probably find the strike zone more often than he could, but Jeff Weaver is arguably the worst pitcher in baseball. When you throw a struggling pitcher into a ball park like Texas's, against there high powered offense I think they should make a special over/under line on how many Homers Weaver will give up.

Those are the 4 games that I like with value. I like a lot of road teams today for some reason Detroit, Oakland, Houston, St. Louis, Cleveland, Colorado, Milwaukee, Cubs :pucking:

Hopefully everyone cashes into and has a big day! Good luck to all.
