his last outing was good, and the jays can swing the bat at home... they should pull it out, but i dont expect an outing like his last one from towers... could be a wild game tonight... jays win.

Towers is horrible. I had Brazelton and McClung on my fade list at start of the year, McClung has actually gotten better and better which forced me to pull him, Braz I think is in the minors now. Thank GOD for Towers, he's the only automatic fade out there right now for me.

The fact he is still on a big league roster (and starting) speaks volumes for the lack of pitching these days.

There has to be more to it, Towers was an improving quality pitcher before this year....I am all over him now, but coming into the year you had to figure he could win 13 -14 games easily.

I had Brazelton and Mcclung on that list also lol. So far, I've added Dana Eveland (Brewers), Brad Radke, and Jeff Weaver to the list.

Yeah good list Emu, LOL. I hate to mention Radke since he's a hometown boy and IMO always overachieved! I saw him pitch locally in Tampa and while he was good I did not think he had the makings of the career he has had. This is another guy that while not a dominant force for the most part could get big league hitters out. Not any longer it seems.....

Hard to believe the bookies made Toronto such a big chalk with that goofball on the mound. Last time they make Jays a favorite with him starting one would imagine. Total over and fade of Toronto when Towers starts must be hitting at an 80% + clips YTD. Time for bookmakers to make adjustments.

Haha, they probably felt gamblers were coming off a high with that nice -300 win by Halladay last night. It's a shame though because this was probably his last start before his assignment to the basement.

Whenever Towers pitches I will fade him take the over and also the TT over pretty sure I will hit 2 out of 3 :puppy:
