in the bottom of the 8th he was on 3rd with 2 out and on a passed ball all the way to the backstop, for some fucking reason, he stayed at third. Ortiz then stkies out. red sox lose a run. its still 8-6 yankees instead of 8-7

would be a lot easier to get one run of Riviera in the 9th instead of 2

I guess you know nothing about baseball

-There was no chance of him being thrown out.

-runner on 2nd could have moved to third, easierr to score from there ( tying run), could have scored on an infield single for instance, but not from 2nd.

- would have needed only one run in the ninth to tie instead of two

If your going to flame, at least be right :howdy:

You try to score because a one legged midget would have scored on that passed ball.

And don't think the yanks weren't happy to see manny leadoff the ninth up 2 knowing the worst he can do is make it a 1 run ball game.

Not scoring there was a HUUUUGE mistake.

yeah bases loaded 2 outs you take the chance of taking the bat out of your #1 hitter :103631605:103631605

He could have swam home. What game were you watching? It is still baseball, you know. It's all about the long ball for some, but the fundamentals still count. And that was baserunning at its worst. No wager on the game for me, but that was terrible.
