Yesterday was probably my worst day I've had all season long too many underdogs won and it just killed me. Here are my picks for today:

Phillies -154 over NY Mets: This is a lopsided pitching matchup. Myers has been excellent all season long and Gonzalez is awful. Phillies have lost a couple 1 run games the last few nights and they will probably be hungry for a victory.

Boston -1 1/2 over Tampa: Boston should slaughter Tampa today as Doug Waetcher is pitching for Tampa. Tampa is 1-7 in games started by Waetcher this year and he has a horrible track record against Boston.

Texas -172 over Oakland: A lot of people like Oakland today but Millwood absolutely owns the A's in his career 3-0 in 4 starts with a 1.33 ERA. Brad Halsey is playing with fire as he has a 3.15 ERA but a 1.40 WHIP. Usually with a WHIP that high it means you are on the brink of getting shelled. Could be a good game to play under 10 as Millwood does very well against Oakland and Oakland has given Halsey no run support in any of his 3 starts.

Red Sox's /DRays over 9.5 -130: Beckett probably won't give up many runs but Waetcher will give up plenty. Tampa may be going to the bullpen early and that generally means they tap into a guy who has no right to be in the Major Leagues. I'm envisioning like a 10-2 Red Sox's win tonight.

Good luck to everyone today, I sure need it with my disaster yesterday. It's a new day though!
