Hey guys. He rarely does any interviews, but I got one set tomorrow after a second effort. If any of you have any questions for him post him here.

Looking forward to this one.

10 minutes probably. It's a piece to reflect on memories.

Come up with anything you wish journeyman and I will add what I think is great. I am only 20 years old so I can do as much research with the power of the internet, but some of the older men on the board have real memories in their head that come to mind.

Chris ask him which rival game was his favorite to do over the years, you have to ask him this one....

Oklahoma /Nebraska may be his answer...or Michigan /Ohio State.

Also in the same question, you could ask him who his favorite college player was , he was college football for so many years, this will be a real treat for you.

Keith Jackson also covered MNF in the beginning, and of course Wide World of Sports (Evel Knievel type stuff) among other things.

at the end of USC@Cal last year, he went on a nonsensical 90 second rant about USC's powerful recruiting practices, and at the end he said, and I quote, "when you're cooking in mama's kitchen, you never know what you're gonna get"

ask him what the fuck he was talking about :puppy:

Being on the West Coast and having to listen to him with Pac-10 games the last few years, it was honestly torture. He would go on rants where no one in America would know what the hell he was talking about.

He would be so out of touch with the game that was going on, it was embarassing. He would call passes incomplete while guys had made a reception and were still running with the ball...say a team got the 1st down when they were 5-7 yards short...it was bad.

I don't want to hijack this thread though and make it a negative...a great score for you Chris on the interview. He is a broadcasting legend.

yeah, I kid. he said a lot of ridiculous things that entire game, including starting the broadcast off with the always epic "as per NCAA regulations, one team must wear their home colors while the other team must wear whhhite jerseys -- today that team is the #2 AP USC Trojans"
