Thurs: 2-2, +.04 units (this one still hurts. wont forget this day for a while).
ytd: 130-156, -20.67 units

1 unit:
Mil/Phil under 9 (+102)...Both pitchers did well vs. each other last go-round, looking for more of the same tonight.

STL/SD over 8 (-117)...Hensley got shelled last time out, can't remember last time Suppan gave up less than 3 ER in a game.

Seattle +106...King Felix facing a relatively week lineup. Minn's rookie will have to face some solid right handed bats.

LAD/Wash over 8 (-115)...Both pitchers havent been very good this year. enough said. Hopefully Guillen plays to help with this over.

Baltimore +135...I know Chen has been terrible but Gregg is a bullpen pitcher and didn't look good in his first full start. Value play.

Colorado +142...A lineup missing 2 power hitters (Niekro and Alou) facing a Rockies squad that's already beaten them earlier this year with the same pitcher on the mound (Francis). Line seems really high to me.

GL Desthi!

This fvckin baseball season has destroyed some good people,
being down -20 units is pretty good as far as I am concerned
I wish I was down only 20. I think you recoup and be up again!!!

GL with your plays!!

Strongly Disagree w/the

Mariners pk, they are terrible against LH pitching and will face one of the best young arms in the league. Mn will be ready after SO loss, and hit very well @ home. Twins big here!! Rarely play the Twins but this is a spot I love.

don't know how terrible they are against LH pitching---averaging 5+ runs a game vs. lefties, 9 hits a game.

Look up and down that Twins lineup, theres really no one that scares me, especially with Stewart out---Castillo's the only one capable of setting the table for their 'big" bats, which haven't been great at all.

I'll take my chances with King Felix and Ichiro, Beltre, Sexson, Ibanez, Everett, and Johjima.

we'll see what happens iguess...good luck.

As a Mariners observer I wouldn't touch Hernandez not only are his mechanics are out of whack he left his last start with a "sprained" ankle. Mariners are downplaying it but it could be problem for a rookie on the road who is a complete headcase. Gregg in his first full start dominated the Tigers and in his last start was very good against the Dodgers except for one 3 run HR mistake he gave up to Ayber. Chen is horrid he cannot be bet on especially against since Vlad Guerrero hits .455 against left handed pitching. Good luck with your plays though anything can happen in baseball!

in felix and bruce i see 2 pitchers that are going to be about as low as they can be this season, hence the lines they're on---if u saw FElix vs. Minny earlier this year, the line would have been c loser to -130. He's struggling, for sure, but I really have my d oubts about Minnesota's offense.

As for Chen, he's bene as bad as can be, but still has talent in that left arm of his. Anaheim's offense was struggling before, but losing Kotchman (underachiever) and Erstad i don't think will help their cause. Value play b/c Chen isn't as bad as his #s suggest, and Anaheim's offense is suspect.
