I know Lilly has been throwing better as of late........but at -115 Garcia and the CHW seem like a bargain...........no?

Thanks for your thoughts.

I like the White Sox's today Garcia has been on fire and the White Sox's have won 8 straight decisions started by Garcia. Lilly has been bad his last 2 starts and really struggles against the White Sox's in his career. Ted has only gone 6 innings COMBINED over his last 2 starts.

My overnight number on this game was -126........-115 appears to be a tad low to this observer.

We shall see.

Garcia will be making his first start in Toronto as a member of the White Sox (31-15) after two poor outings with the Mariners in 2001 and 2002. Garcia was tagged for 10 runs and 11 hits over 10 2-3 innings of those two starts, going 0-1 with an 8.44 ERA.
Lilly was hit hard for six runs and six hits, including three home runs over 1 2-3 innings of a 10-7 loss in his last outing against the White Sox at the Rogers Centre. The southpaw has given up eight homers in 33 innings lifetime against Chicago.
One of the homers was hit by Juan Uribe, who is 3-for-7 (.429) with two homers and four RBIs against Lilly.
Toronto starters have a 6.59 ERA in their last six games, with opponents hitting .325 with six homers in a span that covers 28 2-3 innings. This game has OVER written all over it . Taking the JAY'S here soley because they are at home, + $ and get the feeling the last team to bat will win this one............Will be on the OVER as well ........

You failed to show that Glaus hits .150 off Garcia, Hillenbrand .222, Zaun .167. Rios and Johnson have never seen Garcia. The Toronto teams that use to light up Garcia were lead by Delgado because I distinctly remember those games and Carlos had great success in his career off Garcia.

I think Vernon Wells will more than compensate for Delgado vs. this particular pitcher ..........

Took KAZMIR +102 as a two unit selection.

My feeling is that one either takes TB or passes on the game.

Vernon Wells is hitting .250 with a .666 OPS in the month of May thusfar. He hits .417 against lefties vs. .295 against righties. He is only 4 for 11 with 4 SINGLES in his career off Garcia adding up to an .864 OPS. While Delgado had a 1.200+ OPS against Garcia. I wouldn't exactly say that is compensating. Garcia was good against Toronto earlier in the year he just had control problems with 6 walks. Since that start over the course of 6 starts he only has 6 walks in that span. The over may be a pretty solid play but I like the White Sox's in this one.

The White Sox are only 8-9 against LH starters, averaging 4.8 rpg. On the road, they are 2-7 against LH starters, scoring fewer than 4 rpg.
Toronto is 16-15 against RH starters (5.2 rpg), including 10-6 at home, where they average over 5.6 rpg.
Lilly's home ERA is lower than Garcia's road ERA. I think they've got the wrong team favored.

I think everyone needs to take these averages with a grain of salt. Zaun is 1 for 6 and Hillenbrand is 2 for 9. This is waaay to small of a sample to mean anything. Only Molina and Glaus have a decent number of AB's to indicate a trend. And its possible both of them sit tonight, especially Molina. Zaun usually gets in for lefties.

As for the outcome who knows. Line is pretty accurate although I'd lean to the Whitesox. Lilly is erratic (moreso in a bad way) and has been struggling with control all year.
