first losing day since coming back yesterday. i sort of had a feel, that is part of the reason i kept everything to just one unit. time to get some more back today.
mets -143 vs florida (3 units)............i remember when willis was just about automatic when he pitched. i just don't think his head is on straight with florida management giving the team away. meanwhile glavine has just been great. tempeted to play the runline in this one but it was only plus 113, so not worth it to me. i know willis is 8-1 lifetime vs the mets, but this is a different florida team and a different willis. i see a 7-2 mets win.
phillies -130 vs milwaukee ( 3 units).........phillies have had some tough losses this past week and last night was another one. phils should get centerfielder Rowland back today, and he gives them energy. gavin floyd big ptiching advantage over bush as well in my eyes. phils due for an easy win. i am just hoping that milwaukee is not our jinx team that we cannot beat like houston was last year.
houston -106 vs pittsburgh (2 units)..............come on now, it is houston vs pittsburgh, what else do you need to know. the pirates are not all of a sudden a good team since they won last night. i will take houston at these odds vs pittsburgh almost anytime.
boston -1.5 (-146) vs tampa bay (2 units).........sox beat rays best pitcher last night and now we get schilling throwing. should be another easy victory for the redsox.
colorado +132 vs san fran (1 unit).........i am just not impressed with the giants. the only time i like to take them is if they have one of their best pitchers throwing. get the feeling there will be some runs scored today and the rockies outscore them.
oakland -109 vs texas (1 unit).........only reason i am taking this is zito's 15-3 career record vs texas.
i would love to get under 20 units down after today, but realize it will take a big, big day for that to happen. they way i look at it is that i am due for a really, big day. i have not many at all this year.
