The pitcher listed is Jered Weaver, younger brother of Jeff Weaver.

Would hate to think you bet against the Angels thinking Jeff is on the mound.

Jered looked strong in ST, and got off to a strong start with the Bees, will probably develop into a #2/3 starter imo.

I would be a little reluctant to bet against this guy as He was the college player of the year and has been nothing short of a Phenon in AAA Salt Lake City with a 1.89 era and something like 8 walks and 66 KO's. He looks better than brother for sure ! Sometimes when hitters have never seen a pitcher, the advantage goes to the hitter.

Dubass neighbor stole my baseball prosectus w/o asking, but I would also think that Salt Lake would be a severe hitters park.

The SL Park factor is about 1.145, compared to a national 1.000 and PCL average 1.07

Not quite sure what you were watching but if you were so unimpressed... how in the world was He voted the " Golden Spike " award in 2004 as the top college player in the country ? Also perhaps He will get lit up today but He wasn't getting lit up in AAA Salt Lake City. I still say I would be a little concerned betting my hard earned $$ against this guy. I wouldn't hesitate against his older brother however.
