I really thought the Cubs would break out yesterday, but i was Wrong. Had the Braves today. And i would NEVER lay -400, even i knew the final score....:lolBIG:

They fall in love with the line irrespective of actual likelihood of success. Juxtapose that with hating a -400 irrespective of actual likelihood of success.

There is a reason the Cubs are ~+170 these days and the KC opponent is always -200 or higher.

baseball is a "strange" sport. Bad teams dont lose every day, in fact a 70-90 season which isnt exactly "good" still means your team wins often. Knowing when to pick em can be useful, although I see where youre coming from, this team is horrible, no doubt about it.

I will give everyone on this thread $100 if KC wins 70 games this year. That being said, I understand your point. I also agree playing dogs selectively is the way to make money in baseball. HOWEVER, I firmly believe some teams should be avoided no matter what the line. KC is one of those teams and right now, the Cubs are too. Cubs have injury issues and that may change, but I won't play KC under any circumstances.
